This past year has been a wonderful time of launching the message of
The Wounded ~ The Healers
& The Warriors.
I have been met with heartfelt sharing by so many of you. From comments to guest posts and a couple of speaking engagements at retreats, you have all become a part of this message. I am so grateful for your support and I pray the messages written here have been a support to you.
In reality, we are simply striving to stay connected to our God through some of the most challenging of circumstances and relationships impacting our faith in him.
But we have persevered and are persevering…coming out with a faith that goes far deeper than we thought possible.
God spoke this verse over me. I had no idea what I would go through to KNOW by personal experience the depth, height, width and length of HIS anointed love.
Father, out of Your honorable and glorious riches, strengthen Your people. Fill their souls with the power of Your Spirit 17 so that through faith the Anointed One will reside in their hearts. May love be the rich soil where their lives take root. May it be the bedrock where their lives are founded so that together 18-19 with all of Your people they will have the power to understand that the love of the Anointed is infinitely long, wide, high, and deep, surpassing everything anyone previously experienced. God, may Your fullness flood through their entire beings. Ephesians 3:16-19 (the Voice)
This is also what I pray for each of you. For all of our wounding – may we know experientially His divine love reaching further, wider, and deeper than any of the suffering we have long endured.
Because of this deep ache of my soul I have recently become a bit discontent with my writing for this blog…
Not because I don’t live this every day!
Or because I’m bored.
In contrast, I want to write about this journey BETTER.
Sometimes, there are thoughts I want to share that just don’t fit in 600 words or less.
Or, I want to share something challenging and I don’t feel that I have had enough time to refine the words to the best expression of the collision of my heart and God’s.
So with this angst I have made a decision to say more with less.
More refined posts less often.
And quite possibly more posts expressed through a series instead of one shot at 600 words or less.
If you don’t hear from me as often as before…there is a reason for this change of pace.
I hope you will hang with me into the new transition because I will need your prayers:
- So I won’t run from the wrestling
- I will engage in the topics fully, allowing the message and the craft to sink deeper
- I will accomplish many writing goals (published articles and books) as well as connect with all of you here in this little bit of cyber-real-estate called a blog
God is so good and kind to my heart as I know he is for each of you. So let us begin a new aspect of the same journey together.
We are all
The Wounded ~ The Healers
& The Warriors.
